We all have muscles and their endurance is directly proportional to the amount of exercise we make our muscles undergo. Cardio vascular fitness however refers to the efficiency of our heart (cardio) as well as our blood vessels (vascular) when put under rigorous exercise or environments which our body is not acclimatized to.
